2012 Open Evenings

January 19th and Januery 26th 2012.

Sundorne School, Shrewsbury

The Shrewsbury Morris Dancers are no exception and currently the Shrewsbury Morris teams are starting to practice their new repertoire.

Shrewsbury Bull and Pump are bringing in 2 movements of LONGSWORD DANCE from North Skelton as well as some more ADDERBURY dances(Black Joke, Brighton Camp, Shepherd's Hey to name a few)to complement their repertoire of border style dances.

While The Shrewsbury Lasses are working on several new dances to increase their range of dances.

Both teams are also working hard on some new mixed dances while Shrewsbury Clog (who are ever increasing in numbers) are concentrating on bringing all members up to scratch on the Welsh Clog Dance and Winster.

If you've ever thought about having a go at Morris dancing now is a really good time of year to start.
