Shrewsbury Morris Dancers have over 30 years of dancing experience, providing an exciting mix of traditional border morris and innovative dance styles with strong musical support.
Shrewsbury Morris consist of The Shrewsbury Bull Pump Morris Men, The Shrewsbury Lasses and Shrewsbury Clog
- all with their own distinctive style, performing separately and together, providing an energetic and lively display. Shrewsbury Morris are also well know for their regular ceilidhs and have recently devised a complete show "Wake Up the Soil and Drive Out Demons". The teams also organise an annual walking weekend based on a youth hostel in some remote location in this country.
We meet almost every Thursday at Sundorne School and Sports College, Corndon Crescent, Shrewsbury. Please ring or email to check if we are meeting on a particular Thursday.
