Shrewsbury Morris Dancers Christmas Ceilidh Terms & Conditions 2025

1.Tickets:

1.i        All Early Bird tickets to be paid for in advance

1.ii       Advance tickets available up to 3.00pm on 6th December

1.iii      Advance tickets to be paid for in advance – but discretion will be used 

in the week leading up to the event

1.iv      Special deal with tables means that: Book a table for 6 people and pay 

for 5 tickets gives 1 additional Adult ticket for free

1.v       There will be a maximum of 10 tables available

1.vi      Tickets may be purchased via BACs or Cash

1.vi      If the event is deemed sold out in advance, potential purchasers can be 

put on to the waiting list for tickets

2.         Refunds:

2.i        Refunds will be at the discretion of the organisers – but generally no 

refunds on tables

3.         Contact details & visual imagery:

3.i        When purchasing tickets in advance it is recommended that 

purchasers supply either a phone number or email address, so in the 

event of a cancellation on the day, due to unforeseen circumstances 

eg: severe weather, covid/similar out break, damage to the venue 

the organisers will make every effort to contact ticket holders in regards 

to the cancellation. For those people buying blocks of tickets eg. tables, 

one set of contact details should be supplied and that person is then responsible for notifying the rest of their group

3.ii       In supplying these contact details purchasers are agreeing to their 

details being held on the Shrewsbury Morris E-mailing list. Shrewsbury 

Morris will not pass details on to any third parties. The Shrewsbury Morris E-Mailing list is only used to forward details of forthcoming events that may be of interest to those in the list

3.iii      By purchasing tickets for this event customers are agreeing to the use 

of their (and those accompanying them) images on social media and 

publicity for future events by Shrewsbury Morris Dancers unless the organisers are informed at and during the event

4.         Cancellation:

4.i        In the event of possible cancellation information will be posted 

on Shrewsbury Morris website and on Shrewsbury Morris Social Media channels ie. Facebook, X, Blue Sky & Instagram)

4.ii       In the event of cancellation of the event the organisers will endeavour 

to contact all known purchasers through the contact details supplied by them

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check emails/texts for this information and also inform additional members of their party

4.iii      If it is safe and practicable to do so, the event organisers will put up 

cancellation notices at the venue

5.         Refreshments:

5.i        Ticket holders are asked to purchase their drinks from the bar at the 

event and not to bring in their own drinks

5.ii       Drinks will be sold in re-usable plastic glasses for a deposit of 

£1.00/glass returnable at the end of the event

5.iii      There will a small portion of ‘nibbles’ provided during the interval, at the 

event. This is included in the ticket price. No other food will be available

5.iv      Ticket holders may bring in their own edible refreshments but are asked to take away all rubbish

6.         Sound and Volume:

6.1      The volume of the sound level of the band and caller will be the responsibility of the PA technician

7.         Event Income:

7.i        All proceeds from ticket sales and the raffle will go towards covering the costs of staging the event and then the general running of Shrewsbury Morris Dancers
